ABOUT SABINE KAHWAJI
Sabine Kahwaji is a Lebanese-Canadian Director, Producer, Editor, Writer, and Videographer based in Vancouver, Canada.
Sabine works as an independent editor and videographer in the music industry with labels such as Sony Music Canada, Interscope Records, 21 Entertainment, Crowd Surf, Atlantic Records among others. Her determination and persistence have led her to work with some of their most prominent artists. Her work consists of tour documentaries, concert recaps, merchandise videos, artist series/vlogs, and more.
Sabine began her professional career in late 2017, when she directed, wrote, and created the short drama, SEVENTEEN, which was selected by 5 film festivals and made it as a semi-finalist at the LA Cinefest and earned a screening at Manchester Lift-Off Festival.
Sabine enjoyed storytelling, music videos, and movies ever since she was a child. After interning on a CBC documentary set at 16, she was given a first-hand feel of on-set work and was hooked. She was determined to create a career in the industry ever since.
Her dream is to be a full-time industry music video director and eventually move up to directing, writing, and being a showrunner for television with networks such as Netflix, HBO, CBC Drama/Docs & PBS. She is passionate and determined to work her way up and is continuously building her body of work.
Her versatility has allowed her to cover a wide range of genres and she is currently producing a feature-length documentary set to release in 2022.
